Coventry Connections impacts Niagara's air quality.
- Coventry Connections owns and operates taxi and limousine fleets across the Province of Ontario.
- Coventry acquired Central taxi and Central limousine in St-Catharines Ontario in April 2010.
- Coventry has replaced 90% of its original fleet with newer, lower emission vehicles.
- The idea of introducing Hybrid vehicles came from our President and CEO, Mr. Hanif Patni and our Senior VP and COO, Mr. Marc André Way.
- A pilot project of 5 Toyota Prius Hybrids, representing 10% of our St-Catharines fleet, have replaced older, gas consuming vehicles (mainly 8 cylinder Police Packaged Crown Vics).
- We envision a 50% savings in fuel costs due to the “start/stop” nature of our work.
- Going forward, the results of our pilot project will determine the amount of Hybrids we will introduce to our fleets, signifying over 1000 vehicles.
